Description
The DiroDi Rover Gen 6 features a powerful 52V system, a 52V 20Ah Samsung battery for 500W and 1000W Variants and 48V Samsung battery for 250W, a car-grade front light with four modes, including a yellow fog light mode. The bike offers three motor options: 250W, 500W and 1000W. It includes premium KKE front suspension forks (on the Plus model), a colourful display, an integrated rear rack with a 50 kg max load, an optional 52V 20A secondary battery, and various accessories such as an upgraded premium rear basket (included), an optional front basket, and a central storage box.

Tektro Brakes
Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotor offer superior stopping power, modulation, and consistent performance. They’re self-adjusting and cause less hand fatigue compared to mechanical brakes.

What’s the difference between the Standard and Plus trims, and the 250W, 250W/500W and 1000W motor options
The Plus trim adds front suspension over the Standard’s non-suspension setup; both are available in 250W, a combined 250W/500W, or 1000W motor power, for six purchasable combinations in total.
Who is the DiroDi Rover built for?
It’s built to work as a two-up bike as much as a solo one. The wider saddle and frame are designed to carry a rider and a passenger comfortably, which makes it a genuine option for a city commute or a weekend away together, not just a solo ride. It arrives 95% assembled, so it’s a straightforward first e-bike if you haven’t set one up before. The 250W configuration is road-legal across Australia; the 500W configuration is road-legal in NSW only; the 1000W option is intended for private property riding only, not for use on public roads.
Is every DiroDi Rover configuration road legal, or just some of them?
Yes, but it depends on which motor configuration you choose. The 250W configuration is road-legal Australia-wide. The 500W configuration is currently road-legal in NSW only, under a transitional rule that runs until 1 March 2029; it’s not legal to ride on public roads in any other state or territory. What comes with the DiroDi Rover, and what’s sold separately?

When is the DiroDi Rover the wrong choice?
At 34kg with up to 1000W of motor power on tap, this isn’t a first bike for a small or young rider, and the 1000W tier is an off-road unlock, not a simple road-legal commuting setting.
